Let me start out by saying,I don't mind guys and in fact I'd much rather hang out with my close male friends than with girlfriends I've had for years.I'm not a wench with a vendetta.But there are just some things most boys in relationships do that make me want to wipe them off the planet.I say boys because real men learn not to do these things.
So I've comprised a list of the top 3 things my guyfriends agree with me on that are simply not acceptable.
Issue #1.Don't drool over other girls when I'm not around and then act like an angel when you're with me.Yes,it's sweet that you think I'm the most beautiful thing in the world-just one problem,it's not true.You tell me you don't look at women,but I know you do.I'd be perfectly happy to check out hot chicks with you,hell I do with my friends all the time,but when you're acting like a bachelor with your buddies it's a tiny bit disrespectful.I'm not talking about admiring beauty,I'm talking about things like,"Dude,I'd so go up and propose to her right now".
Um,excuse me? Yeah,hi....don't know if you remember me.....your girlfriend of two years....ass.So just don't do this.Ever.Because I will know.Period.
Moving on
Issue #2.Don't make me wait around to hear from you.Now I know there are certain circumstances where regular communication and schedules can be difficult but let's face it,half the time you're "busy" you're just too lazy to pick up the goddamn phone.Or too busy with someone else.....hm?
If you say you're going to call/message/e-mail me at a certain time or a certain day then do it!Or don't say you're going to,"I'll talk to you later" isn't a way to end a conversation,it's saying you're going to do it.
You can have your family and friends and work and school and fun stuff and still make time for me.I don't need to talk to you for 4 hours or tell you every aspect of my day,but you could at least let me know I mean something to you.You wonder why your girl gets clingy and insecure later on in a relationship....it's because you stop paying attention to her!So many couples fall into the rut of not communicating with their partners and that's usually where other issues arise.Just take the time to stop and think and don't take me for granted.If you don't,I may not be there when you decide to miss me.
Issue #3 This one is the holy grail.Cheating.
People seem to have a hard time defining what cheating actually is.We all know that sleeping with someone else is the obvious one.But my definition is a simple one:Anything you do with someone who is not your significant other that would hurt them if they found out about it.You kissed someone else?You cheated.You touched someone else inappropriately?You cheated.
Even if you're just sharing yourself in a way that should only be shared with your girlfriend,the guilt should be setting in..Also a question that comes up a lot is:"Are there ever any circumstances where it's ok to cheat?"The answer is NO.It's never ok.If you haven't clearly discussed the end of your relationship with your girlfriend/fiancee/wife and you're hooking up with another chick,guess what,YOU'RE CHEATING.Don't blame the girl,it's you who are the unfaithful S.O.B.I don't care if you were feeling lonely,bored,curious or etc,those are things to address not a reason to undress.There are no excuses,no situations that can ever justify this disgusting act of betrayal.Whether it's a short term relationship or you've been with your significant other for years,you can't possibly imagine the long term damage it can cause.If you can't keep it in your proverbial pants,you should be single and stay single.
When you're with someone,you trust them.They cheat on you and it's a giant slap in the face.Almost like saying "HAHA! Omg you idiot,you actually believed me!"
If you don't have the balls to admit you'd rather be with another person then you're a spineless bastard.Seriously,suck it up,admit you've been getting off to the little brunette bimbo who coos over you and tell me the fcking truth.So I can hate you and watch your little fling fall apart like the shallow attraction that it is.
But don't act on it first.If you do then you're the scum of the earth and will be cursed to rot alone in the grave you dug...All I'm saying.
Now these scenarios apply to girls as well-with a little re-wording so EVERYONE can read this and have a little light shined on them.
Just don't do this shit.
